Principal investigators can request assistance from OLAC to perform procedures, assist with anesthesia, surgery, administer controlled agents, or euthanasia. Arrangements for the assistance are scheduled in advance and personnel involved depends on scheduling. In all cases, the availability and/or feasibility for OLAC to provide the service is at the discretion of the OLAC director.
For proposal budgets, contact OLAC for hourly rates and help with estimating time required to provide the service.
For cost recovery on funded sponsored projects, costs will be recovered either through the Effort Certification System for time entry or through a transfer voucher.
