Principal investigators can request assistance from OLAC to perform procedures, assist with anesthesia, surgery, administer controlled agents, or euthanasia. Arrangements for the assistance are scheduled in advance and personnel involved depends on scheduling. In all cases, the availability and/or feasibility for OLAC to provide the service is at the discretion of the OLAC director.
For proposal budgets, the following hourly rates for OLAC personnel should be used along with the estimated number of hours to determine the total projected cost.
